ナイト・フォトグラフィー講座 1日目 / Night Photography Class Day1

フランスの写真は、まぁそのうち、ちょこちょこと。

デジカメ入門講座に続き、何か講座取りたいなと思ってたところに、ちょうどこのナイトフォトグラフィーの講座が。自分一人じゃなかなか出来そうにないので、撮ることに決めました。週一回で全５回の講座でした。ちなみに去年の秋のことです。もう一年前なのか。。。講師はデジカメ入門講座と同じ方。とても勉強になったし教え方も上手だったので、安心してとりました。

ナイトフォトグラフィー、お恥ずかしながら、三脚使って夜景写真ね、くらいの印象しか持ってませんでした。でも講座を取って、長時間露出、光のコントロールなのだと学びました。そして奥が深い！

１日目は基本的なことの講義と、スクールの周りでの写真撮影でした。ISOは100でキープ、F値は大きめで、あとはシャッタースピードでの調整。開放F値が好きな私には、普段ほとんど使わないような大きな値で、なんかかえって新鮮。三脚は以前１度使っただけだったので、セットしたり慣れるのにちょっと苦労しました。ここで初めてレリーズの存在を知り、この日のクラスの後早速アマゾンでポチっと。

まずは所謂（？）夜景写真。アートスクールのステンドグラスが美しかったので。何気にピントを合わせるのが難しく、結構時間かかりました。

近くの路地。昼夜関わらず、こういう路地は気になります。柔らかい光に惹かれつつ、その奥にあるゴミ箱との対比が面白かった。F値全然絞ってないですね（笑）

ISO100, F1.8, SS1/2秒。

そしてやっぱり動く物。車やバスが通るの待って撮りました。F値や露出をどれくらいにするとどう写るのか、の感覚がまだ無いので、色々試しながら四苦八苦。そしてこの時期夜はもう結構寒かったので、次回はもっと暖かい格好してこようとか考えつつ。。。

なかなか楽しい♪良いスタートをきりました。

I was looking for another photo class after I took "Introduction to Digital Photography" class and found this "Night Photography" class. As I don't think I would do it by myself, I decided to take it. Once a week for 5 classes. It was last Autumn... it's already one year ago. The instructor is the same as "Introduction to Digital Photography".

"Night Photography"... I thought it was just about taking photos of Night view with tripod... as I didn't know that much, but actually I leared it was about "long exposure" or "How to control the light". It is very different from the photo under the day light.

In Day 1, I studied the basic and took photos around the school. Keep ISO 100, try to close the F stop and then control the light by shutter speed. As I usually open the F stop, it was kinda refreshing. It took time until I got used to the tripod as I used it only once before... and also I learned what remote release was, which I've never heard before. I bought it right after this class.

Photo 1. ISO100, F4, SS 4s. The art school with the beautiful stained glass window. It was bit difficult to get the focus.

Photo 2. ISO100, F1.8, SS1/2s. I like this type of alley. I was attracted by this soft light and also the contrast to the trash box.

Photo 3. ISO100, F4, SS1.6s. Of course(?), moving subjects. Waiting for cars or buses. I tried to use various setting for F stop or shutter speed until I got how it would work with the night view. And also, as it was chilly, I was thinking I needed to wear more next time...

It was intersting and fun!
